Senior Financial Assistant

About the Position

We are now looking for a senior financial assistant for a manufacturing company located on the southern side of Stockholm. In this role, you will be responsible for the correct, efficient, and secure handling of accounts receivable and accounts payable for three companies. You will be an important part of an engaged finance team and work closely with purchasing, sales, and other parts of the business. Here you will have a broad role where you contribute to stable cash flows, high-quality accounting, and the development of work methods and routines.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Handling customer invoicing, reconciliation, and payment matching
• Reminders, debt collection, and customer contact regarding invoice issues

Accounts Payable

• Responsibility for supplier invoices across all companies
• Work in and administration of Medius Go
• Ensure correct coding, matching, and approval
• Contact with suppliers and internal buyers

Payments and Liquidity

• Incoming and outgoing payments, payment files, and bank reconciliations
• Correct handling of liquidity transactions and support in liquidity planning

Reconciliations and Closing

• Reconciliations before monthly and annual closing
• Accruals and control of balance accounts

Process and System Development

• Improve routines, strengthen internal control, and contribute to digitalization
• Collaboration with purchasing, finance, and sales for efficient flows

Suitable Background

We are looking for a confident and competent person with solid experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable. You have worked broadly within financial flows and thrive in a role where you take responsibility for several parts of the process. You are familiar with digital systems and preferably have experience with Medius Go or similar solutions. You feel at home with basic accounting, reconciliations, and closing-related routines.
